10 Christmas Horror Movies You Must See Before You Die
6. A Christmas Horror Story
What more could you wish for at Christmas than William Shatner, zombie elves and four stories all rolled into one? Thanks to A Christmas Horror Story, all your festive wishes just came true. Set in the town of Bailey Downs, which film buffs will also remember as the setting of teen girl werewolf horror Ginger Snaps, the four-part anthology features more plotlines than you can shake a stick at. Simultaneously a group of teens investigate a high school murder, a creepy changeling child, a family who have incurred the wrath of Krampus and Santa Claus battling those aforementioned zombie elves. Released in October this year (which is a bit premature for a festive horror but that's when the bloody songs come on the radio), its one of the most recent additions to the Christmas horror genre and its interweaving stories can get a bit confusing at times. But luckily Shatner as DJ Dan a radio DJ stuck working the Christmas Eve graveyard shift and the films narrator is there to pull all the plots together. Plus its worth sticking with for its wickedly dark twist ending.
