10. And All Through the House (2011)
You feel suspicious of a film that has the slogan "Twas the Night Before Christmas, and all through the house, A creature was stirring, but it wasn't a mouse." The movie, produced by Southlan Films and starring Dave Watkins and Kevin McKinney, is one of the more recent films on this list, and explores the consequences of sacking an employee too close to the holidays. A cruel toy manufacturer cancels the services of one of his lead authorities over the phone, and the subsequent shock causes him to resort to desperate measures; exacting one of his late wife's voodoo rituals to gain revenge on his evil boss. Throughout the film, the main characters are disturbed by numerous monsters and killers, and the film introduces the viewer to new household Christmas figures, such as the Holly King and an evil Santa. Furthermore there is the resident creepy puppet in the mix, to ensure that any children watching will never watch Pinocchio again. The film did not receive a wide viewing, and the quality of the production screams retro B-movie. It is basically a story of revenge, maybe an imagining of if Bob Cratchit had sent, instead of morally conditioning ghosts to Scrooge, a horde of bloodthirsty zombies and mental patients. http://youtu.be/ZzsUFgiKgQA
