10 Classic Film Characters Who Didn't Have As Much Screen-Time As You Thought

5. Boba Fett - Original Star Wars Trilogy

Boba Fett has a cult following; if you're not a big Star Wars fan, you'd have still heard of him, and if you are, you're probably waiting on his own movie, which was announced to be in the works this time last year. He's another character rife in parody and pop culture; in 2008, Empire Magazine named him the 79th greatest movie character of all time. But poor Boba only actually appears for 18 minutes across Star Wars Episodes V and VI; that's not counting spin-offs, games and various other media: that really is less than twenty minutes in the entire trilogy. Nine minutes per film, and yet he's one of the top five best-selling action figures for the franchise. George Lucas knows how massively popular Boba Fett is though; he even added the character to the digitally remastered Special Edition of A New Hope, to give him two minutes' extra screen-time.
