Considering the corny subject matter and the ridicule and parody the film has been subjected to over the years, you'd think that people would lie about having not seen the film. Okay, so it might be cheesy and very 'of its time', but the film has a massive fan base and is ingrained into popular culture. Perhaps people, realising just how much of a phenomenon is, felt like they should have seen it? Maybe they were so familiar with the film's more famous scenes and images that they just said they'd seen the whole film based on that? Whatever the reasons may be, this is an odd one to lie about.
