10 Comic Book Movies You Should Feel Guilty For Enjoying
2. Alien Vs. Predator (2004)
It all started with a brief appearance of a Xenomorph skull on the Predator ship in 1990s Predator 2 and a popular comic book series. Over a decade later Paul W. S. Anderson's Alien Vs. Predator was finally released in theaters, and the response was quite lukewarm. The tag-line for the film was just asking for abuse. At the time posters proudly declared: Alien Vs Predator. Whoever wins we lose, which was an irresistible set-up for film reviewers everywhere. Surprisingly, however, the film isn't nearly as bad as some have made it out to be. Although its much more enjoyable if you approach it as a trashy B-movie and try to pretend that it has nothing to do with the original Alien or Predator films. In short, Alien Vs Predator may be silly but the effects are good and there are enough shocks and gruesome deaths to keep things entertaining. Does it make any sense? No, it doesn't. But if you manage to endure the excessively long and unnecessarily exposition, you'll get what you paid for: exploding chests and invisible stalkers.
