10 Comic Book Movies You Should Feel Guilty For Enjoying

3. Ghost Rider (2007)

Nicolas Cage is Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stunt rider who makes a deal with Satan (played by Peter Fonda) to save his father from cancer. After that, Cage is assigned to be the devil's bounty hunter, and he gets a very cool ride to do it on. Now, sometimes a movie fails and succeeds at the same time. Because by any real-world standard, this film is a horrible bit of nonsense. But it's very good at being a horrible bit of nonsense, if for no other reason than the insane premise and for being kind of a window into Cage's bizarro soul. To put is simply; Cage is hilarious in this movie. It€™s not always on purpose, but watching him transform into the Rider, screaming and waving his hands around relentlessly is quite entertaining. Sadly (or thankfully), it gets even better/worse in the sequel, Spirit Of Vengeance.
