10. Amora the Enchantress
The ladies really like Thor. Just ask any woman who went to see the Avengers or Thor at the cinema. Amora the Enchantress is one of those women keen on Thor but the difference between her and other potential suitors is that she one of the most powerful magic-wielders in Asgard. Through her natural attractiveness, seduction techniques and mind control magic she can have any man that she desires, hence the name The Enchantress. The one man that she cannot have is Thor, which makes him all the more desirable. She is often aided by Skurge the Executioner, a half frost giant, half Asgardian, tower of a man who wields an enchanted double bladed battle axe. Out of love he will do anything for Amora, even though his love is unreciprocated. Amora has appeared in the animated film Hulk Vs Thor and as a significant recurring character in the animated series Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes with her faithful servant Skurge. It is unlikely that Amora the Enchantress will appear in Thor: The Dark World given that she has not been revealed in the casting and that principal photography has already been completed. If there are any more Thor films produced it is highly possible that she will appear, but this is largely based on how successful The Dark World is. Thor himself Chris Hemsworth has commented that his Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Charlize Theron would make a great Amora. Due to her filming commitments it was all but impossible for her to play Amora in The Dark World. It is however still possible that she may play Amora in another Thor sequel, if she is not cast in another role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
