10 Comic Con Announcements The Fanboys Would Love

5. Full Justice League Cast Revealed & Release Date

With Zack Snyder and co. hard at work on Batman v Superman, it's perhaps a tad unfair to expect them to say anything about the inevitable Justice League movie, which is rumoured to be due for release in 2017. Still, with a release coming (apparently) just a year after Batman v Superman, it also means Snyder won't have much time to gather himself, and will need to already have a pretty good idea about what direction the movie will be heading in, especially considering that Dawn of Justice will reportedly be shot back-to-back with the current movie. With Batman v Superman bowing in May 2016, we expect a late-2017 date for Justice League, though we'll have to wait and see. As for the cast, much of it has already been announced, with Ben Affleck's Batman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Gal Godot's Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg and Jason Momoa's Aquaman all confirmed. Still, we're waiting to hear a concrete answer on The Flash and Green Lantern, while David S. Goyer has already suggested that Martian Manhunter likely won't figure in anything he works on. With rumours swirling for a while now that Comic-Con will see the announcement of a Wonder Woman solo movie and a Green Lantern-Flash team-up movie, there would be no better time to get the entire cast of Justice League in one place for one awesome photo op.
