10 Comics You Must Read Before Spider-Man: Far From Home
1. Marvel Team-Up #9: Spider-Man And Iron Man
The relationship between Tony Stark and Peter Parker in the MCU is one more akin to that of a Father and Son than that of a pair of superhero colleagues.
When Stark was approached by The Avengers to aid their time-travelling quest to undo Thanos' actions in Endgame, it wasn't the argument of Steve Rogers that swayed Stark, nor was it the good faith shown by Pepper Potts, it was a small photograph of himself and Peter Parker- the kid who looked up to Iron Man, and also the kid whose life he couldn't save.
An appropriately cute Bronze Age story that details the two heroes going up against Kang The Conqueror and Zarrko the Tomorrow Man. It is almost a novelty to go all the way back to 1973 and witness the first ever canon interaction between the Golden Avenger and our Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man.
Considering how heavily the loss of Iron Man seems to be shaping Far From Home, you could read a lot worse comics in preparation for Spidey's upcoming sequel.
