10 Common Film Occurrences That Just Don’t Happen In Real Life

8. If You're Going to Get Drunk, then You're Going to Get Obliterated

Hasn't anyone in the movies heard of moderation? Why is it that no on ever just gets tipsy or buzzed? They either stay sober or full on let's-get-in-a-fight-with-a-stranger drunk. I mean, I understand that it's funnier when a character gets drunk instead of just buzzed, but it's ridiculous. I feel like Hollywood needs to put out a movie called AA, and it's just a bunch of actors reprising their roles of characters who got drunk in their own respective films going to AA together. Everyone get's hammered every now and then, but most of the time when people drink, they know their limit. Plus, they generally have friends watching out for them. In the movies however, if the character who gets drunk has their friends with them, the friends aren't going to be looking out for the character's best interests, no, they're going to be cheering that character on. Come on, Hollywood, let's go back to being classy with our booze.
