5. Napoleon Dynamite
Not content to see us out with one of the funniest dance scenes of all time, the end-credits sequence finds us formally invited to Kip and Lafawnduh's outdoor wedding ceremony. Kip has written a song for the occasion- as much an ode to technology as to his wife- and what his delivery lacks in enthusiasm, it makes up for in awkwardness (although, if you squint your eyes a bit, you'll swear it's Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor). While it drones on for almost two excruciating minutes, the party's attention is thankfully drawn elsewhere; to the unmistakable sound of an approaching horse. And who should be atop this stallion, dressed all in white and with his shirt buttons alluringly popped open but Napoleon himself. Oblivious to the fact that he has upstaged his brother's wedding, he turns to the bride and groom and says, in that marvellously monotone voice of his,''I hope you guys' experiences are unforgettable''. As with every line of his, it's both incredibly earnest and yet utterly hilarious.
