10 Crazy Movie Politicians We'd Never Vote For

3. Adam Sutler - V For Vendetta

V for Vendetta is exactly what will happen to Britain should the BNP ever somehow get into power, although even they might not actually kill 80,000 through the release of a deadly virus (though I wouldn't put it past them). Adam Sutler is the Prime Minister of the totalitarian regime and he is also a little bit of an arse. Having been responsible for the production of the St Mary's virus he uses the threat of terrorism to scare the public into submission and eventually appoint himself High Chancellor of an autocratic state. He and Emperor Palpatine would get on like house on fire.

2. In The Loop

Armando Iannuci's wonderful In The Loop was full of politicians ranging from the faintly useless to the utterly idiotic, somewhere in between those was poor Simon Foster, Secretary Of State For International Development and MP for Northampton. Despite seeming to be a relatively clever guy, he somehow manages to make every situation he finds himself in so much worse. So much so that he ends up contradicting himself over whether or not there will be war in the Middle East and becomes embroiled in a major international political incident, all the while looking as though he has no idea what was going on.
