F**k me where do we begin with this one? It might be putting it a little lightly to say that Jar Jar Binks was not universally adored after his debut in The Phantom Menace, so when it appeared he was not going to play a large part in the second and third Star Wars films, fans rejoiced. Except that wasn't true and in fact he is a vital part of Palpatine's plan to gain power. Senator Amidala was the politician here, she shouldn't be able to just pick someone to stand in for her and even if she could, Naboo should have staged a full on revolution over being represented in the Senate by such a complete moron. It's like if we were represented in Europe by the BNP. Can you imagine!? Wait...
