Ronan The Accuser was a Kree super-soldier who fanatically followed the Kree religious doctrines, keeping up with them even after the end of the Kree-Nova Corps war when the Kree empire seemed to be in a major decline.

Ronan bathed in the blood of his enemies, mostly Nova Corps soldiers. He also exceeded in wiping out entire civilizations, including Drax the Destroyer's entire family and planet.

That particular massacre was something that Ronan initially didn't recall, as he has wiped out so many hundreds of people a single-family would never stand out to him.

Ronan may not look terrifying at first glance, but when he took Drax on in single combat and absolutely wiped the floor with him, he proved that he was deserving of the galaxy's fear and hatred. Ronan even dared to steal the Power Stone right from under the Mad Titan Thanos' nose, blatantly warning Thanos that he was next on Ronan's path of destruction after Nova Prime.

Ronan may have only appeared in two MCU films but he certainly stood out as a brutal hulk of a man who took pleasure in the destruction of his enemies, mercilessly burning them from orbit or crushing them with his mercenary armies.

If not for the heroic acts from the most unpredictable ragtag group of beings in the universe, the galaxy may have burned before Thanos even got a chance to put his golden glove on.
