The world of cinema has given us plenty of memorable movie twins. From Luke and Leia in Star Wars to the Winklevoss twins Cameron and Tyler in The Social Network. However, the award for the all-time creepiest movie twins would have to go to the Grady siblings (played by twin sisters Lisa and Louise Burns) from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. With their iconic blue dresses with frill sleeves and ribbon belts these girls epitomize creepiness. The Grady Twins have only a brief onscreen moment, but it is a startling moment. As young Danny (who is fairly creepy in his own right) rides his tricycle down the hallways of The Overlook Hotel, he comes across a pair of twins rumored to be dead. The lingering only gets creepier when they make a simple request: "Come and play with us, Danny, forever, and ever, and ever." The film then flashes to their dead and bloody bodies. There is no discussion of creepy movie kids without bringing up the Gradys.
