10 Dark Theories About Family Movies That Actually Make Sense

8. Jurassic World: Indominus Rex Is Part Human

Although the full genetic makeup of Jurassic World’s new dino on the block is still unknown we do know the Indominus Rex is part velociraptor and T-Rex (obviously) alongside some other dino DNA and also has a little bit of pit adder, tree frog and cuttlefish DNA thrown in for good measure.

But some of the hybrid dinosaur’s features and traits have fans wondering if maybe there’s something else in the mix too. Not only does it display above average intelligence, it also seems to kill other dinosaurs for sport rather than survival or food and it has suspiciously opposable thumbs – all of which are human traits. Well, apart from the above average intelligence maybe.

We know that InGen’s brilliant geneticist Dr Henry Wu and shady security dude Hoskins were conspiring to weaponize the beast for military use. Could it be that Dr Wu sneaked a little of his own DNA into the melting pot to create the perfect human-dino soldier killing machine?

Laughable as it may sound, back in the mid-noughties when Jurassic World was still but a twinkle in Steven Spielberg’s eye an early script draft by screenwriter John Sayles included some human-dinosaur abominations, so the theory might not be all that far-fetched after all.
