10 DC Comics Villains Who NEED To Face Robert Pattinson's Batman (And Who Should Play Them)

4. Christoph Waltz As Hugo Strange

Professor Hugo Strange is one Batman's most dangerous enemies, yet we have never seen him brought to life on the big screen. BD Wong did an admirable job in the often maligned Gotham series, but that's as far as it goes.

Strange is a big deal when it comes to Batman's rogues' gallery, and bringing a character of such heft to life requires an actor with chops, charisma and sheer intensity. Step forward, one Christoph Waltz.

We don't really need to delve too much into Waltz's background to know how good he is. An Academy Award winner, he has had starring roles in films such as Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained, as well as a slightly disappointing turn in the James Bond film, Spectre.

We know he can play the major bad guy in a summer blockbuster, and he has previous of acting opposite Robert Pattinson in Water For Elephants. Remember that one? Waltz would bring his unnerving charm to the role and one only needs to watch the opening scene from Inglourious Basterds where Waltz, as Hans Landa, interrogates a Frenchman about the location of the Jewish people he is hunting.

Imagine that level of intensity instilled in a deranged Hugo Strange telling Bruce Wayne he knows his secret identity?

Seriously, shave this man's head and a slap a beard on him pronto!
