10 DC Movie Deleted Scenes You Need To See

2. Superman IV: The Original Nuclear Man

Batman Forever

Superman IV may be bottom-of-the-barrel stuff in the superhero genre, but this deleted scene is at least weirdly entertaining and should have made it into the final cut, minus that terrible music, of course.

Before Lex Luthor created Nuclear Man to battle the Man of Steel, he made a prototype clone which resembles and acts not unlike the comic book villain Bizarro.

Played by Clive Mantle, the original Nuclear Man may have been a bumbling bad guy, but at least he puts up a good fight and treats fans to a slugfest reminiscent of Superman II. Supes ends up frying him on a telegraph pole.

An additional action scene would certainly have done Superman IV no harm. Put it this way, there's nothing that could have really made the film any worse.
