10 DC Storylines That Need To Be Adapted To Film
7. Superman: Doomsday
One of the many things that Dawn of Justice failed at was how they handled The Death of Superman story. With comics reaching an all-time low, this is the story that saved the industry. The unkillable hero finally falling at the hands of a monster is how you tell a tale and make a lot of money, and it is ridiculous how Warner Brothers managed to mess this treasure up. This is a story that DC fans have been waiting to see, but Batman v Superman put a bitter taste in our mouths.
Not only is the fight between Supes and Doomsday fantastic, but what follows afterward is just as good, if not better. Lex Luthor realizes that the world does need a Superman, so he takes a blood sample found on the battlefield and makes a clone of the fallen hero, all while the revived Supes is rehabbing at The Fortress of Solitude. The clone later becomes unhinged, and the real Superman must return to the field early to prevent even more destruction all while rocking long hair and a sweet black and silver suit.
In ten-to-fifteen years when Warner Bros. realize they messed up and reboot everything this is a movie that desperately needs to happen, and it needs to be done right.
