The idea of a Justice League filled with evildoers may sound somewhat familiar to Amazon Prime Video viewers, as this idea has already been attempted and fantastically executed in The Boys. DC has its own evil JLA in the form of The Crime Syndicate of America, and an attempt to bring them to the big screen may be wildly successful.
Obviously, the most exciting prospect for most fans will be casting the dark counterparts to their favourite heroes. DC may opt for a returning actor taking the role such as Henry Cavill becoming Ultraman or instead opt for a more risky casting choice that fans would certainly appreciate. An immediate standout in this regard is Michael B. Jordan, who was rumoured to be cast as Superman a while ago.
Were this film to be a success, DC then has the very real possibility of having this team return in a dimension crossing event like Crisis on Two Earths, which even the most jaded of DC critics can agree would be a credible rival to The Avengers if built towards correctly.
