10 Deadliest Planets In Star Wars

4. Mustafar

A fiery, volcanic wasteland more resembling a hellscape than an Outer Rim world. Mustafar's hazardous climate made it instantly inhospitable to most humanoids and imposed a terrifying, demonic sight.

Lava flumes and crevasses bursting with molten liquid covered the entirety of this devastated world, and beneath: rare ore and minerals to be mined. Factories, observation decks and command centres were the only type of temporary habitation present on the lava fields and were operated by the Techno Union during the Clone Wars

During Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker's duel on the mining platforms in Revenge of the Sith, volcanoes under the lava fields erupted - demonstrating the unpredictable and explosive power of this red planet.

Elsewhere, petrified irontrees, smoky red forests and marshlands sat above the boiling core, obscuring Sith artefacts and secrets from the rest of the Galaxy.

Following his defeat by Kenobi, Darth Vader constructed a grand fortress which would serve as his base of operations on the planet. This castle-like structure was surrounded by a lava moat and secluded away in the most mountainous ranges of the world.
