8. Skull Island - King Kong (2005)
The prehistoric and seemingly abandoned Skull Island that is situated off the coast in Indonesia is teeming with history while being home to vast amounts of creatures does sound both enticing and exciting to many an ambitious and inquisitive explorer and tourist, in both respects. While offering visually stunning landscapes and the richness of its naturally vibrant habitat, its locals will be less than welcoming to the presence of vulnerable strangers. The island holds home to a society of primitive humans who worship the god like beast; King Kong, that favours the attractive lady while the co-habiting carnivorous creatures ranging from predatory dinosaurs to ravenous arachnids share an acquired taste for human flesh. Chances of survival are relatively slim.
