7. Sandford, Dorset - Hot Fuzz (2007)
The quaint and ostensibly quiet small village in rural Dorset, who are renowned for persistently maintaining the title for "Village of the Year" is a deceitful disguise for its more sinister intentions and strategies to maintain its pleasant reputation. The elder residents of the village, who seem to be warm and pleasant, perform the vital functions to run the congenial and gracious community by maintaining the charmingly small businesses and shops, while managing the Neighbourhood Watch Alliance to serve the interests of the community and deterrent criminal behaviour. However, their methods are somewhat questionable. The NWA while succeeding in preventing crime does this to a worrying extent of brutally dispatching anyone who threatens their goal of preserving the "greater good". So, if you're a disorderly teen, an interfering police officer or a guiltless tourist, you will be likely subjected to a murderous and gory demise.
Tip to survive: Watch numerous action films. They'll be of adequate use.
