1. Helen Mirren's Early F-Bomb Was Dropped - Barbie
There's an awful lot to love about Greta Gerwig's bright pink box office juggernaut, but the director's own favourite Barbie moment didn't actually make it into the billion-dollar smash hit.
When talking to Cinemablend about a moment she unfortunately had to cut out of the PG-13 story of one of the iconic dolls venturing out into the real world, Gerwig explained how there was originally a "page one F-bomb" in the flick.
The line that set the tone for the rest of the marvellous and regularly unexpected feature to come would have involved narrator Helen Mirren telling Marie Curie to "Pipe the f*** down, Marie Curie!"
However, despite absolutely loving the line and it being her "favourite", that still couldn't keep it from being dropped during the editing of the Margot Robbie-starring picture. In fact, Gerwig even recalled that being the only line when everyone audibly let out an "oh, no, no, no, no" when they saw Mirren unleash the emphatic F-bomb in her British accent.
So, after failing to get Mirren's shocking page-one profanity into theatres, the director instead chose to hand the film's one and only F-bomb to President Barbie, motherf***er!
