10 Deleted Scenes Cut From Quentin Tarantino Movies

9. Mr. Orange Learns Mr. White Is A Cop Killer - Reservoir Dogs

Kill Bill Volume 2 Bill Michael Jai White
Miramax

Tarantino's debut Reservoir Dogs originally altered one of the heist thriller's central character dynamics in a major way.

This deleted scene sees Mr. Orange (Tim Roth) meeting with a cop (Nina Siemaszko) who runs down the background check for Mr. White (Harvey Keitel).

The background check states to both Orange and the audience that White is a cop killer, which wouldn't really vibe with the genuine, doomed friendship we see between Orange and White throughout the film.

If Orange knew White was a cop killer all along, it's much tougher to believe he'd become so friendly with White. This reveal also makes it abundantly clear that White will blow Orange away as soon as he confesses to being undercover.

It's certainly an interesting scene worth watching, albeit one which asks audiences to jump through a few dramatic hoops at the same time.
