2. Peter Parker Meets His Father - The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Few people are going to come out from the woodwork and defend The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as being one of the greatest superhero movies of all time - from its overblown villains who feel like they belong in a cartoon rather than a feature film to its incredibly muddled plot, it's a far cry from reaching the full potential of the character. Still, there's one scene which, had it been included, would have made the film worse than it already is. As if the film hadn't already thrown one too many contrivances and cilches at us, director Mark Webb also shot a scene in which Peter Parker meets his father in a cemetery. Is it actually his father? Did he manage to somehow - inexplicably - survive the plane explosion? Or is it someone else disguised as his father? Or a hallucination? Does it really matter?
