10 Deleted Sci-Fi Movie Scenes You Need To See

3. Revenge Of The Sith - Building The Rebellion

I Am Legend
Lucasfilm

No one could deny that the final film in George Lucas’ prequel trilogy, The Revenge of the Sith, spends plenty of screen time focusing on the downfall of series antagonist Anakin Skywalker a.k.a. the man who would become Darth Vader, but this singular focus is also detracts from the film’s world-building.

It’s not the biggest issue in the film that brought us the venerable Mace Windu falling out a window, but the lack of larger context makes the movie feel a bit myopic, and it would have been nice to see some anti-Palpatine sentiment thrown around the Senate.

Enter the film’s missing deleted scenes, cut for being too boring, which show generals who would go on to head the Rebel Alliance as they begin to turn on Palpatine behind closed doors, discussing his growing corruption.
