Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which ran from 2008 to 2020, chartered the many battles between the Republic and Separatists during the titular conflict, filling in the gaps as to what big characters had been up to in between Episodes II and III and introducing several new faces to the fold.

Perhaps the most enduring new character from The Clone Wars is Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's young apprentice. One of her big character arcs is being accused of playing a role in the bombing of the Jedi temple, which forces her to go on the run. Luckily, in this scene that didn't make it to air, her master was on hand to back her up.

In this uncompleted (and slightly frightening) exchange between Anakin and the Council, Skywalker strongly disputes that Ahsoka could have done something this heinous. Yoda eventually talks to Anakin alone, where he reveals that he believes him, but he must provide sufficient proof to exonerate his student.

It would have been nice to see Anakin go to bat for his Padawan, making his eventual turn even more heartbreaking, but there's plenty in the episode as-is that foreshadows his turn anyway.
