Remember that picture of Scoot McNairy wearing green socks that leaked from on the set of BvS the other day? The one everyone thought meant he would be appearing as the Flash or possibly even Metallo? Well, according to an extra who was on set with McNairy, the actor is actually playing Jimmy Olsen...and Jimmy Olsen has no legs, what with having them crushed by a piece of rubble during the skyscraper-smashing climax of Man of Steel - but the important thing is that he doesn't blame Superman. So the socks are going to be filled in with...prosthetic limbs, we're presuming? Wow. That's just what you need in your capes-and-tights movie about two guys with daddy issues beating each other up: a multiple amputee who's still loves Superman, even though he's responsible for Olsen never being able to wiggle his toes ever again. This is turning out to be a real Forrest Gump.
