If there’s one thing you can say about Quentin Tarantino it’s that the guy loves movies. Each of his films seems, in part, to be an homage to a genre of film that Tarantino holds dear. His latest work, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, is a love letter to the entire industry of film-making as a whole.

And, although other prominent directors have expressed disdain for Hollywood’s current obsession with the superhero genre, Tarantino has embraced it. In several interviews, he’s expressed his love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When asked which of these movies is his favorite Tarantino didn’t cite franchise favorites like Iron Man, or Avengers Endgame. No, Tarantino’s favorite film in the entire MCU was Thor: Ragnarok, ““I loved it,” he recently told Empire Magazine. “It was my favorite one of the series since The Avengers.”
