10 Disney Animated Deaths That Scarred You For Life

6. Blender (The Brave Little Toaster)

Bing Bong Death
Disney

Imagine if Disney made Sausage Party but with household appliances, and you've got a rough idea of how The Brave Little Toaster turned out to be. It may sound whimsical and fun-filled, and most of it is - except for one scene which features an unfortunate blender being tortured, dissected, and killed.

The titular toaster and his unfortunate gang of appliances find themselves in the workshop of a man named Elmo, a salesman who sells appliances and disassembles old ones for parts. And in his crosshairs next? You guessed it. The blender is cornered and snatched by Elmo, who intends on removing his motor to give to a customer. Blender is then grotesquely mutilated while being held in a vice, a darkly shocking scene that doesn't feel like it belongs with the rest of the movie.

This is exactly the kind of thing that happens in torture-porn pioneers Saw and Hostel, but because it's a blender, Disney were able to get away with it here. But just imagine, for a second, that you're in the blender's shoes, and you can feel every second of it. The feeling of being crushed by a vice, torn apart, stabbed and having your motor - or heart - ripped from your body.

After watching this one, you'll never look at your appliances in the same way again.
