7. The Aristocats

The first Disney film released after Disneys death was an original story in that it wasnt based on any property published at the time however the film was actually inspired by a real life story from around the year 1910 when a real life family of cats inherited a fortune. The film holds the prestigious honour of being the last that Walt Disney green-lit and was being produced during a period of change in the Disney Company. It was the last film upon which Eric Larson performed the role of Animation supervisor and was also the first film to feature the voices of Carole Shelly and Monica Evans who returned three years later to Disney to play the parts of Maid Marion and Lady Cluck in Robin Hood (1973).
