10 Dream MCU Projects Disney Will (Probably) Never Make

1. Infamous Iron Man

Make no mistake - Doctor Doom is coming to the MCU, and when he does, audiences aren't going to know what hit them.

That may seem overly confident given the last two films made him out to be the lamest figure in existence (the first as a generic suit and tie antagonist, and the next as a borderline crash-test dummy with glowing eyes), but still, there's a reason he's considered Marvel's primo big-bad.

Strangely enough, though, some of the best Doom storylines involve the character using his obvious genius to do good. Doom does it in his own, morally ambiguous ways, but said turns never fail to be exciting, as it was during Infamous Iron Man, which saw the erstwhile Latverian dictator replace Tony Stark as the Avengers' new iron-clad ally.

To be clear, it's absolutely inevitable that we'll see Doom turn good in the MCU, but it'll be brief. It's way too early to contemplate him being a hero when we haven't even seen him done right as a villain, and it's far more likely that Marvel will abandon the concept of a new Iron Man altogether as the movies progress.

Still, one can only wonder how great Alex Maleev's redesign would look in live action, mystical armour and all...
