10 Dumb Villain Schemes Even A Child Could Have Stopped
7. Javert - Les Miserables
The Plan: Inspector Javert, likely the most identifiable lawman in all of Paris, decides to go undercover with a gang of student revolutionaries, with the ultimate goal of bringing them down from the inside by feeding the misinformation. The Flaw: It's a decent plan except for the fact that Javert is supposed to be insanely feared and recognisable; this doesn't exactly lend itself well to undercover work now, does it? Would it not have made a lot mor sense for Javert to send a petty officer to do the job anyway? It's not like it really required his expert detective skills; any old patsy could have done it, and then if they were rumbled, it'd be some twerp getting strung up rather than a prized officer of the law. Given how good babies are at remembering faces, he literally could have had his plan foiled by an infant.
