9. Dr. Jonas Miller - Twister
Dr. Jonas Miller (Cary Elwes) is a rival storm chaser to the film's protagonist, Bill Harding (Bill Paxton), and to be blunt, a total a**hole.
But Miller gets his comeuppance at the end of the movie in spectacularly braindead fashion, as his arrogance prevents him from heeding Bill's warnings about the incoming tornado, believing he's simply trying to get a professional leg-up on him.
Even though Miller's driver Eddie (Zach Grenier) suggests they should listen to Bill, Miller turns the radio off and berates Eddie, moments before Eddie's fatally impaled by some debris and their car is swept up by the tornado.
Miller then meets his own maker seconds later when the car gets thrown to the ground, exploding in a gigantic fireball.
As if to hammer the point home, Bill even angrily shouts "Stupid!" after witnessing Miller's effectively self-inflicted demise.
That he pointlessly took a colleague to the grave with him - one whose concerns were entirely reasonable, no less - only makes it that much worse.
