10 Dumbest Decisions Ever Made By MCU Heroes

9. Tony Stark Gave The Mandarin His Home Address

It’s one thing to be confident. Tony Stark was always more sure of himself than anyone else, even in the face of ridiculous adversity.

Even after his Ultron project went as wrong as it possibly could have gone, he still thought it was the right thing to do when presented with the vibranium body that would ultimately become Vision.

While this has often held him in good stead, too often it has crossed the line from confidence into arrogance. He never shied away from a fight, but to outright invite one to his home in Malibu was completely reckless.

In the wake of the Mandarin bombings, Tony stood up and called the terrorist out. Not only did he antagonize the man blowing different parts of the country up, the man who clearly has no issue with killing or destruction, he gave away his home address. What a surprise then that his home was almost immediately bombed.

This was all kinds of stupid, not least because he took absolutely no precautions to keep either himself or Pepper safe. If he wanted to draw the fight into his home turf that’s one thing, but to do it knowing Pepper would be there unprotected was simply idiotic.
