10 Dumbest Decisions In Paranormal Horror Movies

Jeepers Creepers focuses on siblings Trish and Darry Jenner who soon encounter the titular character while on the road. What starts out as a trip to spring break soon ends with a night filled with tragedy, which is caused by Darry's own actions.

When the siblings encounter an aggressive truck driver, the vehicle stops in an abandoned church. The man then gets out and starts dumping bodies below a steel pipe. Rather than report this to the police immediately, Darry convinces his sister to turn around and investigate the area. He then enters the pipe and finds the Creeper's lair full of bodies and inadvertently puts them into the sights of the supernatural being. Though he had good intentions, as the victim was indeed alive when the Creeper dropped it off, Darry's actions would come back to bite him as it led to his unfortunate death.

The film succeeds in making us root for Darry and justifies his dumb decision with his noble intent. Through Justin Long's performance, as well as establishing his relationship with his sister, Trish, we get to root for the character even when he makes mistakes.
