10 Dumbest Decisions In Slasher Horror Movies

6. Taking A Bath During A Massacre - Slaughter High

If ever a film ticked every cliched box of the 1980s slasher movie, it's 1986's Slaughter High. When people give slashers a bad rap and poke fun at the subgenre, it's films like Slaughter High that are to blame for that.

For those not familiar with this picture, it starts off with high school jocks mocking your stereotypical teenage nerd, resulting in an acid-based accident causing said nerd to become disfigured. Skip ahead a couple of years, and all of those jocks are invited back to the school for a reunion - only to realise the school has long been abandoned, before each of the group is offed in acid-driven ways by a masked killer who is revealed to obviously be the tormented, disfigured nerd.

After one of these bullies has their guts burst out of their stomach after drinking acid-laced beer, the group scarper off in a panic. But for Shirley, that panic is momentarily put on hold when she discovers the old school bathroom.

Deciding to stop and have a soak in the tub in the middle of this massacre, Shirley's bizarre behaviour is rewarded by her ultimate demise; that being thanks to the taps on the bath serving up acid rather than water.
