10 Dumbest Decisions In Spider-Man Movies

4. Miles Never Listened To Peter And Rushed Into Danger

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was a brilliantly made animated film, and the truest interpretation of the source material made into a feature film to date. In the movie, Miles Morales picked up some superpowers after getting bitten by a radioactive spider, but there was already a Spider-Man in his universe.

Ultimately, that version of the character dies, and Miles is left without a mentor. While mourning the loss of the hero that was Peter Parker, another version of Parker shows up, surprising Miles. In a comedic scene showcasing their flight through the city, Miles manages to strike up a mentor/mentee relationship with the new Spider-Man.

To be fair, he wasn't all that interested in bringing Miles up to date on the whole superhero gig, but the two worked together nonetheless. In several instances, Miles became insistent upon receiving Peter's help, but every time Peter told him to do something, he didn't listen at all, which wasn't a smart move.

It put him in unnecessary danger on more than one occasion, and while the whole adventure worked out in the end, Miles should have listened to the veteran Spider-Man. Because he didn't, Miles was nearly killed by Doctor Octopus, a bunch of minions, and the Prowler, who turned out to be his uncle.
