10 Dumbest Decisions In The Fast And Furious Saga

4. The Gang Teams Up With Shaw

F8, The Fate Of The Furious, or whatever else we're calling 2017's entry to the franchise, is where the series transitions from being over the top and barely justifiable to just being downright extra.

Having defeated a vengeful Deckard Shaw in the previous film, the team must now defeat the man who led them (Dom) and the woman who hired Shaw's brother for the previous previous film (Cipher). Still keeping up?

As we know from every other action movie sequel and reboot, the enemy of our enemy is our friend, and so Deckard is invited with open arms to become a bona fide member of the gang. But wait: to the best of their knowledge, Shaw killed Han. Fan-favourite and all-round good guy Han. Core member of the Fast 'family' Han.

Well, when push comes to shove, it looks like family doesn't mean so much. There's a bit of a brouhaha to begin with, but things quickly settle into a rhythm of mutual cooperation. Shaw may be a trained killer with loyalty to no-one, but the whole team end up putting their faith in him and even entrust him to deliver Dom's infant son back home.
