10 Dumbest Decisions In Zombie Movie History
6. David's Total Lack Of Spatial Awareness - Shaun Of The Dead
Shaun of the Dead is a rarest of zom-coms that sacrifices not an ounce of horror in its pursuit of laughs, as is perfectly conveyed by the terrifying sequence where smug tosspot David (Dylan Moran) is pulled out of the Winchester by the...things - don't call them zombies - and graphically ripped apart.
But David's demise could've been easily avoided if he just demonstrated some mild spatial awareness by...not standing mere inches away from a clearly vulnerable window with a fleet of hungry zombies crowded around it.
Of course David's real stupid decision was trying to shoot Shaun (Simon Pegg) dead moments earlier, which caused him to back up and stand shamefully near the window in the first place.
Sure, there are more egregious sins than losing your temper and forgetting your place in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, but c'mon, you can literally see the shadows of the zombies on the damn curtains.
