The Twist: Chris Pratt And The Four Seasons race through the Isla Sorna jungle to take on the Indominus Rex. But during the confrontation things don't quite to plan; it turns out the I-Rex is part raptor, leading to her being able to turn Blue and co. against the humans, leading to the mass devastation you'd expect from bringing dinosaurs back to freaking life. Why It's So Dumb: Where to begin on this one. The whole I-Rex being a raptor was a painfully obvious reveal anyway - aside from the fact it was a front-and-centre selling point of the hybrid early on in the marketing, it's still pretty clearly a strong designing element of the creature - but having all that "pack alpha" chat come to a head with a simple roar undermines everything Owen's been saying thus far about the raptors being smart creatures. It's made all the more ridiculous when the sudden turn is undone by even more flippant means. Jurassic World was lambasted heavily for a lot of "dumb" elements, some of which were excessive nitpicking (high heels) and others clear homages to the original (the Mosasaurus diving out to eat the I-Rex), but this is a genuine WTF moment worthy of being called out.
