8. Jar-Jar Binks Is A Sith Lord
Jar Jar Binks, according to some corners of the internet, is the true villain of the Star Wars saga. Like Christoph Waltzs character in Spectre, hes the author of all the evil plans weve seen in the franchise to date. Jar Jar is the puppet master behind the rise of the Empire, and hell return in The Force Awakens to stake his claim to universe once again. Except, of course, thats all nonsense. George Lucas created Jar Jar Binks as a comic relief character to make the prequels more accessible to children and to sell a few toys on the side. Ahmed Best gave him a silly voice to match. Binks clumsily lolloped his way throughout the prequels, and thats all he was ever meant to do. Theres no chance at all that Jar Jar will play an important role in The Force Awakens. Why would J.J. Abrams want to bring back the most-hated character in the franchises history? All involved will want to move on from the prequels and put the memory of Jar Jar far behind us.
