6. Captain Phasma Is Darth Plagueis
Darth Plagueis was the Sith Lord who trained the Emperor in the wicked ways of the dark side. He had such mastery over the force that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. Ultimately, though, he couldnt save himself. The young Emperor killed him in his sleep, and took his place as the galaxys master of evil. Thats where Darth Plagueis story ends unless youre a fan theory writer. According to some fans, Darth Plagueis is actually alive and well. Hes stomping about in disguise, and has assumed the identity of Captain Phasma (Gwendolyn Christies chrome trooper character, pictured above). Although the theory
goes into some detail about name meanings, clues in trailers and trading card analysis, it seems fairly unlikely that J.J. Abrams would bring back an ancient Sith Lord who was only mentioned once in the previous six films. Despite the fact that weve got some returning characters and themes from the old films, its doubtful that Abrams would make such an obscure historical reference at the risk of alienating new fans. Wed mark any appearance from Darth Plagueis as very unlikely.
