10 Dumbest Things In The Star Wars: Prequel Trilogy
6. Mace Windu Doesn't Bring Enough Back Up
After sensing the threat of the Sith over the course of the prequel trilogy, you'd imagine that Mace Windu would do everything in his power to ensure said evil force was successfully captured and/or killed in Revenge of the Sith.
And while he wasn't exactly foolish to bring in the likes of Masters Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, Saesee Tiin - who were all no slouches with a lightsaber in hand - why the hell didn't Windu just wait for a few more Jedi to back him up during easily the most important moment of the entire Clone Wars?
Sure, giving Palpatine more time to execute his next move would have been a risk in the wake of Anakin Skywalker telling Mace about Sheev's true identity. But with the likes of Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi by his side, after patiently waiting for reinforcements, there's a strong chance the Jedi would have been able to stop everything from the rise of The Empire to the fall of Anakin Skywalker when they finally opted to strike.
Instead, Windu foolishly and arrogantly jumped into a showdown with a ridiculously powerful Sith Lord and paid the dumb price along with three other outgunned Masters.
