doodlbug Chris Nolan is somewhat of a phenomenon. I have never seen so many people, defend and care about a filmmaker in the same way in my life time. It is an infectious feeling and I certainly owe the man a certain amount of gratitude during my formative years as a storyteller. But what was he like as a storyteller in his own formative years? Well, to answer that, I give you Doodlebug, a short film made during his time as part of the UCL film society. While far from the great mend bending filmmaking that Nolan has become known for, you can see the seeds in the film. This was the first step on his way to Hollywood greatness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WhKt_CkXD0
