8. Steel (1997)
Starring: Shaquille O'Neal You could be forgiven for not knowing that this comic book adaptation actually existed, but I can assure you it does. Starring the basketball star as John Henry Irons, the golden-hearted action hero who DC introduced following the Death of Superman storyline in 1993. He was one of four heroes introduced to fill the super-sized hole, and the worst by some distance, and the film actually went some way to making him an even worse character. ONeal, who was cast entirely for his size, apparently starred as Irons, a weapons designer for the military, who builds a super suit with a giant hammer (giving him the opportunity in the film to utter the immortal line "it's hammer time!") to fight crime. It was as rubbish as it sounds, and from a budget of $16 million, the film took around $2 million at the boxoffice. But the "good" news is that Shaq is set to appear in the upcoming Grown-Ups sequel. http://youtu.be/qP8d6W2lThM
