10 Emotional Movie Scenes That Will Make You Cry
2. Andy & Bonnie - Toy Story 3
Let's face it, if we're talking tearjerker movie moments, we could very easily build a top ten list of such scenes from Pixar's back catalogue alone. Jessie's song in Toy Story 2, the first five minutes of Up, Bing Bong in Inside Out, Mama Coco in Coco... just thinking of these moments is enough to get a bit choked.
However, if there's one Pixar movie above all others that's guaranteed to get the tears flowing, it has to be Toy Story 3, in which the now all-grown up little Andy heads off to college and bids his lifelong friends Woody, Buzz and co goodbye.
We've barely recovered from the trauma of the toys almost meeting their demise in the furnace (admit it, for a minute you thought they were actually going to die) when, in the final minutes, Andy decides to give all of his toys to little Bonnie.
After tenderly introducing them all to her in turn, they enjoy one final playtime; before Andy heads back to his car with difficulty, leaving them - and his childhood - behind.
Andy drives away, Tom Hanks' Woody sadly sighs "so long, partner"... and the music is drowned out by an entire auditorium bawling into their popcorn.
