10 Epic Movie Moments Still To Come In 2015

2. The Inevitable Stand-Off - The Hateful Eight

Tarantino's second foray into Revivalist Westerns looks like Clue with more facial hair and naughty words, and inevitably it hits near the top of the anticipation charts by virtue of the director. Luckily Tarantino thought his story - of deception, gamesmanship and murder in the snowy post-Civil War hills of Wyoming - was important enough to defy the script leak that so outraged him. Hopefully, we'll see a slightly different ending to piss off anyone who read it, but as with all Tarantino's, it's the journey and the delivery that arguably matter more than the plot. As usual, he's brought together a ludicrously talented cast of character actors, and the prospect of their various stories all converging in one small shack cut off from the rest of the world is just beautiful. Imagine the Reservoir Dogs stand-off, but with more guns pointing at everyone and less idea of who is really duplicitous. Less Exciting: The awkward feeling every time Tarantino's script calls for someone to be openly racist.
