10 Essential Marvel Heroes Not Yet Used In The MCU
1. Namor
Of all the Marvel characters who haven't shown up in the MCU, Namor is probably the biggest slap in the face. Namor has been around since the very beginning of Timely Comics having debuted all the way back in 1939. You might think he had a movie at least once since then, but he has only ever appeared in television series and video games.
Namor is essentially Marvel's first superpowered character who wasn't an android (The Human Torch came first). He's basically Marvel's version of Aquaman, but he beat him to publication by a couple of years.
Namor leads the undersea Kingdom of Atlantis and while he fought alongside the Allies during World War II, he tends to keep to himself, often coming into conflict with Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Despite his antagonistic nature, he is a hero and it's time for him to make his cinematic debut.
Unfortunately, Namor's film rights are still tied up with Universal so Marvel will need to sort that out before they can bring him into the MCU. Hopefully, they will knock that out and bring him onto the big screen in Phase 4... after all, he will need to find out where half of his Kingdom went.
